About
Six rustic cabins at Lake Waramaug State Park, on the lake's shore. A 14-by-17-foot rustic cabin with two rooms, comfortably sleeping four (up to six), furnished with two sets of bunk beds plus one full-size bed - mattresses are provided, but bring your own linens and pillows. There's electric lighting but no running water, toilet, or shower inside; a bathroom and shower house are nearby. No cooking, open flames, or smoking are allowed inside the cabin, and the primary occupant must be at least 21. None of the six are wheelchair accessible. Pets aren't allowed in or at the cabin, even at parks where pets are welcome on the regular campsites.
Fees
$50/night for Connecticut residents, $60/night for non-residents, per the cabin's own published rate. A $50 refundable security deposit is due at check-in.
Cabins close for the season after Labor Day, even though the campground's own regular sites stay open into October. They're bookable Friday through Sunday nights with a 2-night minimum.
