About

Elk Ridge Yurt sits about 300 feet past its own parking lot near Oxbo in Sawyer County, reached by turning northeast on Oxbo Drive and then left on Feleen Road, which dead-ends at the yurt's parking area. It's furnished with four bunk beds and mattresses (one bunk is wheelchair accessible), a futon, a table and chairs, and a wood-burning stove for heat - there's no electricity or running water. A fire ring, lantern pole, bear-proof food storage box, game pole, and an enclosed vault toilet are outside. No pets are allowed except certified service animals. This yurt is closed every Tuesday for cleaning, even during its open season.

Fees

Wisconsin's nightly yurt rate isn't published in a static table - the rate is shown when you select this yurt during booking. Book at https://wisconsin.goingtocamp.com/ or by calling 1-888-947-2757. A vehicle admission sticker is required at the gate, separate from this cabin's own rate: $28/year for Wisconsin residents ($13/year age 65+) or $50/year for non-residents, or $13/day resident / $16/day non-resident.

This yurt is only open for general recreational use June 1 through Aug. 31. It's reservable for hunters only May 1-31 and Sept. 1-Nov. 30, and closed entirely Dec. 1 through April 30.
