About each unit

Camper Cabins · sleeps 4

Seven simple camper cabins (Brookie, Laker, Salmon, Rainbow, Abenaki, Mohawk, and the smaller Perch) sit near Little Diamond Pond at Coleman State Park. Six sleep up to 4 on a bunk bed with a pull-out trundle; Perch is smaller, with a single queen bed for up to 2. None have a kitchen or private bathroom - showers and restrooms are at the main campground's comfort station - but each has a propane heater, solar-powered lighting, a picnic table, and a fire pit. Bring your own bedding. Pets are not permitted. Closed only for spring mud season.

Lodge Houses · sleeps 8

Coleman State Park has full lodge houses for rent - Whiskey Jack, Osprey, and Snowy Owl by name, and the park's own reservation system lists up to 4. Each sleeps up to 8 across 2-3 bedrooms with a mix of queen, full, and twin-bunk beds, plus a fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, a gas fireplace, satellite TV, a washer/dryer, and a one-bay garage. Bedding is provided. Pets are not permitted. Closed only for spring mud season. New Hampshire's senior camping discount does not apply to these lodge houses.

Marten Lodge Room · sleeps 4

The Marten Room is Coleman State Park's one currently bookable lodge room, sleeping up to 4 with a queen bed plus a full futon or queen sleeper sofa, a microwave and mini fridge, and a 3/4 bathroom. Bedding is provided. Closed only for spring mud season. New Hampshire's senior camping discount does not apply to this room.

Coleman's lodging is booked essentially year-round, unlike most other parks in this file - it closes only for a defined "mud season" from April 3 through May 14. Winter stays are real here (not just nominally available): the camper cabins involve a roughly 300-foot walk from the winter parking area, and Perch Cabin is reached on foot or by snowshoe in the off-season.
