Jones Gap State Park, part of the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area alongside Caesars Head, offers 18 wilderness/backcountry hike-in campsites reached only on foot - there is no vehicle access. The Middle Saluda River, South Carolina's first designated scenic river, runs through the park.
