About each unit
Hynds Lodge · sleeps 30
Hynds Lodge, a National Register building at Curt Gowdy State Park, available for overnight group stays (not a small family cabin) with a stated overnight capacity of 30 people (day-use capacity up to 90). It has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, a covered porch, and a stone fireplace. Linens, plates, and cooking pots are not included - bring your own. The lodge is ADA-accessible. Reservations open up to 365 days before arrival and close 48 hours before arrival - a longer booking window than every other property in this file. Event insurance may be required for some uses; check with the park.
Sherman Hills Premier Cabins (4)
Four cabins (1-Bald Eagle, 2-Bluebird, 3-Osprey, 4-Meadowlark) at Curt Gowdy State Park's Sherman Hills area, each with a queen bed in the front room and two twin bunk beds in the back. Heat is electric baseboard - bring a portable heater if you get cold easily in winter. No linens, no coffee maker, and no inside plumbing. Wyoming State Parks' own rental-fee page states Cabins 2 and 4 (Bluebird and Meadowlark) are ADA-accessible, though the reservation system's own accessibility flag doesn't mark any of the four as ADA - a real discrepancy between the two sources, not resolved either way here; call ahead if accessibility is a concern.
