Accessible Cabin

Accessible Cabin is one of Wisconsin's accessible cabins for people with disabilities, at Harrington Beach State Park. It's a one-bedroom cabin with a kitchen (stovetop, microwave, and refrigerator), central heat and air conditioning, and a fully accessible bathroom with a roll-in shower. It's furnished with two adjustable hospital beds, a patient lift with a sling, and a shower wheelchair, and has a screened porch, grill, and outdoor fire ring. Kitchen counters here are set low enough to roll a wheelchair under. Sleeping space extends beyond the two hospital beds, with a pull-out bed in the living room and cots on the screened porch for family members. This park's own page doesn't state a pet policy for this specific cabin. Wisconsin's other accessible cabins that do publish one (Blue Mound, Copper Falls) prohibit pets except certified service animals - call ahead to confirm before bringing a pet.

This cabin is reserved specifically for people with disabilities and their guests, confirmed for up to four consecutive nights and no more than four nights total per year. Wisconsin's nightly cabin rates aren't published in a static table - the rate is shown when you select this cabin during booking - and a $7.95 reservation fee applies on top of it. A vehicle admission sticker is required at the gate, separate from this cabin's own rate: $28/year for Wisconsin residents ($13/year age 65+) or $50/year for non-residents, or $13/day resident / $16/day non-resident.
