About each unit

Camping Cabins · sleeps 5

Newton Hills State Park's Camping Cabins are simple one-room, log-style cabins sleeping four to five people, furnished with a set of bunk beds, a double bed, and a table with benches. Electricity, heat, and air conditioning are provided, but there's no running water, bathroom, or kitchen inside - bring your own water container, sleeping bag or bedding, cooking gear, a cooler, toiletries, and a flashlight. Outside, each cabin has a fire grate, picnic table, and a covered porch. Some cabins are pet-designated (with an added pet fee); others don't allow pets at all, so ask when booking if you're bringing a dog or cat. Some are also wheelchair-accessible, with an accessible picnic table, porch ramp, and wide doorway - ask when booking if that matters for your stay. Newton Hills State Park has 11 of these cabins.

Modern Cabin · sleeps 8

Newton Hills' Modern Cabin is a two-bedroom unit sleeping 8, with a full kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, microwave), WiFi, heat, and air conditioning. No pets are allowed inside (service animals are the exception).

Scout Group Lodge · sleeps 12

Newton Hills' Scout Group Lodge has four bedrooms and sleeps up to 12, with a bathroom, a kitchen, and WiFi - a real house-sized lodge, not a small family cabin. Pet policy and ADA accessibility aren't stated on the park's own page.

Upper Group Lodge · sleeps 12

Newton Hills' Upper Group Lodge has four bedrooms and sleeps up to 12, with a bathroom, a kitchen, and WiFi - a real house-sized lodge, not a small family cabin. Booking it also requires reserving an adjacent campsite ($23/night) alongside the lodge itself - a real, park-specific requirement not found at any other lodge in this file. Pet policy and ADA accessibility aren't stated on the park's own page.
