About

Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park has two yurts near the beach, sleeping up to 5 each (a bunk bed and a queen-size futon couch); guests bring their own bedding and cooking isn't allowed inside. One is pet-friendly ($10/night fee, up to two pets). THIS PARK IS CURRENTLY CLOSED: its own page states it closed Aug. 1, 2026 for replacement of two culverts damaged in a December 2023 storm, with a hold on reservations in place beyond August 2026 and no confirmed reopening date as of this listing - confirm current status before planning a stay. No individual per-unit GPS coordinate is published - the map point shown is this park's own booking-location point.

Fees

Oregon State Parks' statewide rate for a rustic cabin or yurt runs $42-$62/night plus lodging tax; a $10/night non-refundable fee applies to pet-friendly units. Exact current rate shown when booking at https://stateparks.oregon.gov/index.cfm?do=reserve.cabins-yurts

This park is currently closed (since Aug. 1, 2026) for culvert-replacement construction, per its own live status banner and page text - no confirmed reopening date exists as of this listing. Check stateparks.oregon.gov before planning a stay.
