Heckscher State Park, on Long Island's south shore near East Islip, has 15 cottages renting on a longer season than its 67-site campground. You must be 21 or older to rent, and a $200 refundable security deposit (credit card only) is required at check-in. Pets are NOT permitted in the cottages.
