About each unit
Yurt B · sleeps 6
Yurt B is one of three yurts on the Yurt Loop at Hyde Memorial State Park, in the mountains above Santa Fe, sleeping up to 6 people on six twin-size sleeping platforms. Each yurt has its own propane heater but no electricity. There's no water or bathroom at the yurt itself - water is only available near the Ranger Station during the day, and the nearest restroom is a short walk away (pit toilet, no running water). Guests bring their own outdoor cooking gear; cooking and smoking inside the yurt aren't allowed. It's the park's ADA-accessible yurt. Pets aren't allowed in the yurts. It's bookable year-round, and reservations must be made at least 24 hours ahead of arrival (no same-day bookings).
Yurt G · sleeps 6
Yurt G is one of three yurts on the Yurt Loop at Hyde Memorial State Park, in the mountains above Santa Fe, sleeping up to 6 people on six twin-size sleeping platforms. Pets aren't allowed in the yurts. It's bookable year-round, and reservations must be made at least 24 hours ahead of arrival (no same-day bookings).
Yurt H · sleeps 6
Yurt H is one of three yurts on the Yurt Loop at Hyde Memorial State Park, in the mountains above Santa Fe, sleeping up to 6 people on six twin-size sleeping platforms. Pets aren't allowed in the yurts. It's bookable year-round, and reservations must be made at least 24 hours ahead of arrival (no same-day bookings).
Fees
$80.00/night at the current rate (confirmed on the park's live ReserveAmerica fee schedule for both its current peak-season and off-season pricing windows). That same fee schedule shows the rate rising to a $80.00-$150.00/night range starting the 2027 peak season. ReserveAmerica reservation fees apply on top ($3.50/night, $10 max; $5 cancellation fee), per New Mexico State Parks' statewide fee schedule (emnrd.nm.gov/spd/fees/).
New Mexico State Parks' own website states these yurts are available year-round, and the park's live booking calendar confirms it - all three still show as bookable more than four months out, deep into winter. Each yurt has its own propane heater but no electricity, and there's no water or bathroom at the yurt itself - water is only available near the Ranger Station during the day, and the nearest restroom is a short walk away. Hyde Memorial sits at over 8,600 feet near Santa Fe, so winters are cold; call the park directly to confirm current conditions and road access before planning a winter trip.
