About each unit

Deluxe Cabins (9)

Ponderosa State Park on Payette Lake has nine named deluxe cabins - Mule-Deer, Moose, Bear, Wolf, Fox, Eagle, Owl, White-tail, and Elk - sleeping anywhere from 2 to 6 people depending on the cabin. Each has a full kitchen with appliances, cookware, and dishware, plus linens and towels included. Mule-Deer and Moose are ADA accessible, with ramps and roll-in showers. A 2-night minimum stay applies, and pets aren't allowed in the cabins. No individual per-cabin coordinate is published - the map point shown is this park's own campground location.

Fawn Camper Cabin · sleeps 3

Ponderosa State Park's Fawn camper cabin is a simpler, one-room step down from the park's nine deluxe cabins: sleeps up to 3 with a table, couch, and bunk bed. Heat and power are provided, but there's only an outdoor spigot for water, and guests supply their own linens. Pets aren't allowed. This cabin is only available in summer - a 1-night minimum applies (vs. 2 nights for the deluxe cabins).

Fees

Idaho State Parks and Recreation's published statewide facility rate band applies where no park-specific rate is posted: Camper Cabin $80-$90/night, Deluxe Cabin $140-$300/night, Yurt $90-$175/night, plus a $10/reservation transaction fee. Exact current rate shown when booking at getoutside.idaho.gov.

This cabin is only available in summer, per this park's own page, unlike Ponderosa's nine deluxe cabins - exact calendar dates aren't published, just "summer season availability only."
