About
The Yurts at Sweetwater Creek State Park are canvas-sided, one-room tent cabins set on a raised wood platform. This is one of 10 units in this group. Pets are welcomed at the park but are however prohibited from being in or around yurts. (Policy does not apply to service animals.). There's no kitchen in the yurt, and guests use a nearby shared comfort station for showers and restrooms. It sleeps up to 6 people. 1 of the 10 units in this group are wheelchair accessible - ask for one when booking. Dogs aren't allowed in this group of yurts.
Fees
$100.00/night for this park's yurts (one park-wide rate range, not broken down per yurt size). Plus Georgia's statewide $10/vehicle daily ParkPass (paid once per stay by overnight guests; gastateparks.org/ParkPass) and a ReserveAmerica reservation processing fee not included in the listed rate.
Every yurt here has electric heat and air conditioning per its own live listing. No seasonal closure or open/close date range is published, so they appear to be bookable throughout the year. A yurt is a canvas-sided tent cabin, not a solid-wall structure - two other Georgia state parks (Cloudland Canyon, Red Top Mountain) publish a specific warning on their own yurt listings that their supplied heater may not keep up in below-freezing weather. This park's own listing doesn't repeat that warning, but cold-weather campers should call ahead to confirm before planning a winter trip.
