About
Twelve cabins at Cape Henlopen State Park, near the Delaware Bay and Atlantic beaches. Each sleeps up to 6 with one queen bed and two sets of twin bunk beds, a screened porch, a fire ring, and a picnic table. There's no kitchen or bathroom inside - a bathhouse is nearby, and cooking/drinking water comes from an outdoor frost-free spigot. Electric heat and room air-conditioning are included; bring your own linens. All 12 cabins are wheelchair accessible. Cabin 12 is the only one that allows pets.
Fees
$164.00-$170.00/night core season. Rates vary by season; figure shown is this park's current core (peak summer, late May-early Sep) season rate. A $10 fee applies to a second or later reservation change; cancelling 31+ days before arrival costs one night's rate, and cancelling within 30 days forfeits half the total rental fee.
Delaware State Parks' own reservation system lists this as open year-round - no seasonal closure. These cabins have electric heat and room air-conditioning, but no indoor plumbing - the bathhouse is a short walk away.
