About

Nine simple “Cabin” units at Tamarisk Grove Campground, each sleeping up to eight people, in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park's desert scenery. Tamarisk Grove is only open October 1 through May 31 each year - the park closes to the public June 1 through September 30 because of extreme summer desert heat that can reach 125°F. Restrooms/showers and drinking water are available in the campground. This same “Cabin” unit type is used at several other California state parks, where it's typically electrically heated with beds but no kitchen or private bathroom - Anza-Borrego's own page didn't independently confirm that for these specific cabins, so treat it as unconfirmed rather than assumed. The park's general dog policy allows dogs in the campgrounds, on designated park roads, and the Visitor Center/Campground Trail; whether pets are allowed inside these cabins specifically wasn't confirmed.

Fees

$70 per night. Seniors (62+) and visitors with a valid State Parks Disabled Discount Pass receive a discount. A non-refundable $8.25 ReserveCalifornia reservation fee applies on top of the nightly rate.

Tamarisk Grove closes to the public June 1 through September 30 each year because of extreme desert heat; it's open the rest of the year (Oct. 1-May 31), confirmed both on the park's own page and in ReserveCalifornia's own live booking calendar.
